The Burden of Alcohol, Drugs, and Firearms on U.S. Life Expectancy - Explainer Video

The AAMC Research and Action Institute finds that if deaths due to alcohol, drugs, and firearms were eliminated, life expectancy at birth would increase by 1.6 years – that’s about half the gap between the U.S. and the average comparison country.
